I don't know why it would matter what day of the week you decide to do it on. Plus the past is the past ...start induction again and do it for atleast 14 days and you should be fine..As long as you DONT cheat AGAIN!!

        Why wouldn't it be OK?

You can start whenever you feel ready, I don't see how it could make a difference.

        Again, why not?

It's not like you cheat once and then you keep getting fatter and fatter. If you follow the plan you WILL lose weight, no matter if you start on Wednesday or Sunday, or if you ate 1 pound of chocolate the day before.

thanks ladies i really appreciate your responses,i was just a little confused because my cousin has been doing the atkins diet a little longer than me and he told me that once you cheat during the week that i might as well not bother doing it the rest of the week because i will not lose any weight, but i think you ladies are right it should'nt matter what day i start!thanks for the feed back.

It seems to me your cousin gave you a bit of bad advice, even if his intentions may have been good. The best and only way to recover from a cheat is to stop it dead in it's tracks. Actually, the best treatment for a cheat is prevention but that's kind of like closing the barn door after the cows have escaped, in this case.

Return your cousins advice with some of your own: Atkins isn't just about weight loss. It's mostly about retraining ourselves how to eat properly and healthily.

              Re: Is it o.k???

I started on a Thursday - what I scoffed on the Wednesday there is not enough font in the world to list it all on here! Silly really as I had major Induction Flu! However, it didn't affect my weight loss - I lost 10.5 lbs the first week. Have not cheated once and tomorrow will be 6 weeks induction phase.

I think you need to just be committed and start!! Stay true to yourself! You can do it!

              Good luck xo
