  • Newbie fr Singapore

    Hi,

I am so glad to stumble along and found this board. I’m new to this board but had already on induction for 14 days and had pop by browsing some of the discussion. I had only decided to stay and join the discussion. I am continuing my induction as I am losing only approx 2 pounds per week. I may have eaten some hidden carbs in certain sauces or gravy. I need to do this right and see better results. I am half way thru ANDR 2002.

I had been fat all my life and tried numbers of diet the weight just yoyo. I had surgery done for slip disc 9 years ago and had lead a sedentary lifestyle. Even now, my exercise are limited to walking. I may not be very huge in your eyes but for Asian standard, I am fat! I had managed to lost 2kg/4.4pounds since I started Atkins. I read so much that you guys here loses more than that. I hope to learn more from some of the “loser” here.

Welcome to the board, Airbud. I'm glad you found us too and we are here to support in every way we can. If you post what you're eating, we can get a better idea how to help you. Sauces and gravies can stall your progress because they contain sugar and cornstarch so they should be avoided. I suggest you eat lots of veggies and drink at least 64 oz. of water a day. Let us know how you are doing.

Hi Airbud and welcome. Congratulations on completing induction and deciding to continue on with it. It is a wise decision to read your 2002 DANDR. I found mine to be very helpful. Best of luck to you.
