hi everyone, my name is lauren, i'm 31 and i live in florida. i have done atkins before with wonderful results and then totally went off it a few years ago and gained a bunch of weight. i'm on day one of induction. i'm hoping to meet a few friends on here and maybe a weight loss buddy. i'm also getting married in february so i really should lose some weight to fit into a decent size dress!

I too live in florida (orlando)...thank goodness for the cooler weather huh? Just wanted to say welcome...nothing like an impending wedding to motivate you! You should be looking awesome by Feb, b sure to post some pics n let us know how your doing.

Hi Lauren - Welcome to Atkins and congratulations on your upcomin wedding! I too did atkins many years ago and over the years sort of gave up and the weight has crept back in. Hey! Welcome to ADBB! I didn't realize there was so many Floridians here!! I'm from Northwest Florida, but living in Holland now. I don't think you should have a problem finding a buddy!

We are the same weight, and have the same goal pretty much...how tall are you?

Hi Lauren, Welcome aboard. I, too, am in Florida. Leesburg- Central.
How Tall are you? I am 179-180 so 1-2 lbs more then you. So pretty much the same.
