Hello, my name is Amber. I'm 23 with a husband and 4 children. Two in heaven and two here. I'm going on this journey because I need to be healthy. Not just for me but for my family. Heart attacks run in our family. I must admit it would be nice to wear clothes that fit properly and not have the hangover and a stomach that doesn't hang there. I'm 23 I shouldn't look like this or feel this old and broken. Doesn't leave me with much energy to play with my kids either, and as for public outings that's a big NO! I'm so embarrassed of my figure It's unreal. I am waiting to be approved for a Panniculectomy soon. Hopefully like next week. We'll see. Wish me luck!

Hi Amber and welcome. I too am sorry to hear about your loss. I think you will be very happy with your decision to switch to the Atkins lifestyle. You said that you are embarrassed about your body now, but you won't be for long. Commit to a clean induction and you will be on your way to the new and improved you. Best of luck to you.
