Hello everyone,
I've been lurking since before I started Induction and during, and I've finally decided to start posting.
I'm 26, 5'5", and started at 214 pounds. I put on a significant amount of weight during graduate school, and haven't been able to keep it off. I did WW last year and lost 25 pounds, and then regained it when I stopped doing the program. A friend of mine has been encouraging me to try Atkins, because of her success with this WOE.
Today is my last day of Induction, and its been a pretty pleasant experience, not nearly as "bad" as I envisioned it to be. The only thing I really miss is sushi
which used to be one of my favorite foods.
I'm looking forward to weighing/measuring tomorrow, and also starting OWL.
ETA: My goal weight is 160, which I hope to reach by this time next year.

I think you have set a pretty realistic goal for yourself, and i think you will be below 160 before this time next year if you stick with the plan!! If you don't it's nothing to be discouraged about, I'm sure you will see how good you feel on this WOE and want to stick with it regardless!
