Hi there! I am 33 year old woman from Oakland CA and started the Atkins diet on October 28th. I don't know how many pounds I have lost as I am too scared to weigh myself. Although I do know I have lost weight because i can see it and other people have commented. I am hoping to gain some advice about other recipes as I am just eating fish, eggs, meat and cheese, chicken, onions, peppers, cilantro, spinach and mushrooms! SO if you have any suggestions please let me know!! Also....I have noticed some real benefits like I don't have gas anymore since cutting out the sugar! Has anyone else had that effect!

Hello Athenamo! Ditto on the fear of scales. I started my journey on Sept. 30th ... I also do not know how much weight I've dropped. But I know I've dropped (1) size and that's enough to keep me motivated. I've also noticed that I don't have gas pains like before. (I'm much more comfortable now) Good luck to you and keep us updated on your progress.
