Hi and welcome!
You're right ... one day at a time. And it gets easier as you go along. Check in here often ... you'll find it very helpful. If you want to track your food and exercise, you can register for a free account with FitDay ... I recommend it highly. Once you get rolling, join in some Challenges ... they're fun and a great incentive to stay on point!

Welcome to the board! I agree Fitday helps with the carb counting and keeps you on track. I actually use it every morning and plan my menu for the day. This way I know exactly what I can and cant have! Good luck

I would like to point out that Dailyplate.com is also free and you can track food (as well as create recipes), exercise, and measurements. I find it prettier and easier to navigate than Fitday.

Hi. Day by day is a great way to go - one day at a time. For me, day 2 and 3 and 4 were the hardest as I went through carb/sweet withdrawal, but it was a good pain! I'm on day 12 now - no real cravings for carbs or sweets - so weird. Down about 7lbs in 12 days. Not bad. Keep us informed!
