The good news is I've quit smoking since the I had done atkins the first time back in January. Atkins did work for me and I lost a good 15lbs in my first 2 weeks. I had only 25-30lbs to lose, so I was happy. The problem was, well, hubby went on a huge carb kick and since he was responsible for grocery shopping....pizza, sandwiches, icecream, cake and snacks found their way into our home. I've gained it all back and now about 5lbs more. I knew I needed to do something again, but when I woke up this morning and the biggest pair of pants I own where hard to get done up, I nearly flipped!!. \\
So here we go again, but with a lifestyle change completely. I gave up smoking cold turkey and everything else should be easy compared too.
Oh, hubby keeps trying to get me to start after christmas. The answer is no, I'm not waiting...and I really don't want a ticket to keep eating junk food and carb loaded foods.\\
