    Well, where do I start?
    I had 2 beautiful children... and gained a ton of weight. My husband loves me so much, he gained weight with me through my pregnancies. In his defense though, I made some awesome food. I finally hit 209 which is way too much for my 5'3" frame. I want to get back to my 140 I was when I met my husband.
    I have a number of friends that did really well with Atkins, and since I have tried everything else and nothing works, I'm gonna give this a shot. It's also nice that my husband is doing the diet with me. We started a week ago and a half ago, I've lost about 10lbs, him about 19lbs. I read Dr. Atkins' book way back, but we were trying for our 2nd child and I didn't think that was the best time to start.
    I am really excited about the bulletin board, especially the recipes. I love to cook. L-O-V-E. So I can't wait to make great tasting food and still be loosing weight. This past week there has been a lot of grilling in my house along with a ton of omelets. Can't wait to try out your recipes and get to know some of you on my way to a healthier, better looking me!

    welcome I'm new around here too.

    Your story is almost a mirror of my wife's and mine. Good luck, this WOE can change your life if you work it right.

    Remember, drink TONS of water. If you aren't sick of water by the 4th day you ain't drinking enough j/k It does get old sometimes though.
