  • Hello!

Im 17, and have had a battle with weight for a while now. Was always so skinny, untill I moved far away from a place I was happy at, so I put on the pounds like nothing else! I woke up about 3 weeks ago and thought 'Thats it!' And got myself into gear.

I weigh 13 stone right now. ( A year ago i was 11 stone ...) I started dieting about 3 weeks ago, and lost 8lbs, it was going ok, but my mum had been on atkins for about 7 months, and lost about 5 stone! Im really pleased for her So i though id give it a shot!

Started my induction last monday, and have lost 5lbs! Its great!

Im a size 16-18 ( well i fit into smaller, but it shows off my belly so i tend not to wear fitted clothes....)

So a nice size 12 would be nice, well a flat tummy anyway!

    Or even some self confidence!

Will get some photos up soon And tell of my progress! ( I hope there will be some anywho!)

      Re: Hello!

      Hi!

Welcome to ADBB! I'm glad that you've found us. This board has been instrumental in my success, and I'm sure it will be for you too. It's great that your mom has had success with the Atkins lifestyle... it helps to have support from someone who understands the plan.

If you haven't seen this yet, please check it out. There's some useful tidbits of information in there, and some links to some popular places on the board. http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...-new-read.html

Keep us posted on your progress.
