Two years ago I lost 50 pounds eating the Atkins way. I was feeling great and was over half way to my goal. Then fell off the wagon and just never seemed to be motivated enough to jump back on. Now I've gain the 50 pounds back and am at the same place I started from 2 years ago. Due to some health problems I've got to get my weight under control. I am always tired and have very low self esteem. We are going to Florida this summer and I dread looking like a beached whale. From my past experience I know this will work for me, I just have to keep motivated this time. Atkins has got to become a WOL for me. One of the things that kept me motivated before was to read other's success stories, so I look forward to reading through the boards. Last week I re-read my DANDR book and I think I'm all psyched up to go. Today is Day 1 and so far so good...I've had 90 oz of water so far and haven't eaten anything that isn't on the Acceptable Foods List.

Congrats for getting back on the wagon! I know how hard it can be to say no to all those high-carb treats cause they are so readily available. It's a tough world out there, and so you've got this board to help you. I'm going to Florida this summer as well, and am motivated to lose a bunch of weight too. Good luck and happy low carbing.F 30 5'2
