  • New, struggling, but losing.

I'm new to forums, new to Atkins, and new to the number on the scale!
I started induction on the 11/13 and have lost about 9lbs. It's great, but I'm afraid some of it might be from lack of food. I struggle because I haven't mastered the planning ahead part. If I don't have a meal available or planned out I just don't eat. I'm going to work on that.
I go to the gym every other day. I'm craving banana's!
    Thanks to anyone who listens.

Welcome, and congrats on your weight loss!

You'd be doing yourself a great favor by planning ahead and eating more. When you eat too little your body goes into starvation mode and that can stall your weight loss - so it's not that you lost a lot of weight due to eating too little, you might have slowed yourself down.

Once I got in the habit of using Fitday and planning ahead as best as I can (I hate both of those more than I can say but I do it) - I do a much better job of eating enough and eating the right proportion of things. Perfect? No, but pretty good.

It's weird, adjusting to a WOE that says, "Eat! And eat fat too!"
