    Hi,
    My name is Danielle, I have been a little lost the last few months, and though instead of just silently reading posts, I would start posting myself. I started atkins last year, and very quickly lost 35 pounds, and then plateaued. It was very frustrating to me. But the more I read, the more I realize that I was really pushing my carb level before I was ready.
    I have gained ten pounds back, so have started again as of yesterday. I can't believe I would ever stop eating this way. I feel better already. More alert and happier. I still have about 50 pounds to go. And most days to be honest that seems very daunting. This board and all of the people on it are my inspiration. People like me that have accomplished this amazing feat of gaining control. I look forward to getting to know all of you!!

    Oh, believe me... there are MANY of us who have strayed from plan and then found our way back to Atkins. I'm one of them.

    I have found that the plan really does work better when followed to the letter. Sure, it can be a pain in the butt to add back carbs in a specific process and progress up the rungs properly, but it really does help. It is the only way to learn the skills to keep the weight off in the long run. So, review your book, post often, and ask questions.
