Hi there,
This is my second go around with Atkins. First time (2003) I lost about 20 lbs. I can't even remember why I stopped. I am 5"7 and this morning weighed in at 211. I have tried Weight Watchers several times but never felt that energy boost like I did on Atkins. So I am back. I am about a week into induction, but making even more adjustments to make sure it is an honest induction.
On vacation now, so am giving up caffeine-couldn't face 23 fifth graders without caffeine! I am now 2 days without caffeine and it is OK. Yesterday was tough, but today I'm ok. I am also measuring my cheese and planning meals that do not require it at all. While it is not my downfall normally, it is when on Atkins. Willing myself to do some sort of exercise, I lead a fairly sedentary lifestyle. I think that will be my biggest challenge.
I am off now to find one of those ON DEMAND exercise videos. Maybe that will help. Hope this is not too much.
