  • Cani -- i can!!!

Hi all, i am a recurrent atkineer. My nick is cani which comes from one of my favorite motivational speakers -- Tony Robbins -- and it stands for constant and neverending improvement. I tend to be a instant gratification girl who always starts out awesome, gets great results but then it starts to tumble and soon find myself with good intensions that is all she wrote. I just spent 10 days on the beach in Jamaica, and if there is nothing that screams the reality you never want to notice in the mirror or pictures its that, you can't hide from what a bathing suit and 100 extra pounds on your body reveals of the reality. However, while the reality has made its presence known, something else also was revealed with a nice tan and rest and relaxation can do, i remembered i am a beautiful woman. Now, i am not saying that to be immodest or whatnot, but when you are stuck in a prison of your own making many times you create the gray walls that surround you and that is all you see. The dull, drab continuation of the monotomy that you stop looking at what you think you see, disregard what is really there in all the textures and light and individuality, and instead create a vision in your head because what you think you see is worse that make believe.

But the sun has touched what i was seeing as dull and drab and monotonous of day to day, and created the reality of a vision i forgot existed.

So that is what i am going to capture again, step by step, constant and neverending improvement, one step at a time, bit by bit. Canii -- i can!!

So well, lol hi!!! this is a little about me, and i look forward to speaking with everyone.

That was nicely put Cani. I think you are right - seeing your true self make you want to capture it and keep it again. Good luck. Hope to hear more about your Atkins journey.

Hi Cani and welcome aboard! You have a great attitude and that's half the battle.

I like Tony Robbins too although I haven't read any of his books in about 20 years. Might I suggest you read "Psyho-cybernetics' by Maxwell Maltz. I have the original edition, the one with the orange cover, and it's what helps keep me going. It sounds technical but it's not. It's a great read.

Good luck and keep us posted!
