  • Newbie!

    Hi all! I started on October 15, 2008 and I've been lurking a bit here, so I thought I'd introduce myself. I am excited about the weight I've lost, but feel a little overwhelmed by the weight I still want to lose. I love reading all the posts here, the successes especially... they are just so inspirational. So thanks everyone!

    It's great you finally posted. Wow, you're over halfway to your goal! That's wonderful. Are you in OWL? If so, what rung? You'll be able to lose that last 29 pounds. You're so close!

      thanks clogger! my goal of 195 is just to get me out of the obese range (kinda arbitrary, but basically onederland will be a huge goal for me)... i'm not sure what my final goal will be yet, but i figured it would be too daunting to look at. but thanks! i just take it one day at a time, or at least that's what i keep telling myself to do

        oh duh, forgot to mention my owl status... right now i've been too scared to go farther than 1 officially, so i try to keep it limited to additional veggies. i once had a couple pieces of honey dew melon though i feel satisfied, so i think i'm doing what works best for now.

          Hi there and welcome!

          Set little "mini goals" for yourself and just take it one day at a time. Check in here often ... it helps A LOT. And I agree with you, the stories you hear on this Board are very inspirational! You'll meet lots of great peeps and we're all on the same journey.
