My name is Mike, and I just started induction on the 22nd of December. I'm already 14 pounds down and I love it. This is the first diet i've actually tried. I never bothered with one before because I knew my appetite would eventually sabotage any small progress I made on calorie restricted diets. I'm a die hard carnivore, so as soon as I read that most meat is allowed I knew I could do this easily. The only hard part will be to subdue my internal cookie monster
I was a bit confused at first about induction. I bought the book and read parts I and II before starting, then I checked online for any kind of carb list I could print off. I found an official looking Atkins carb list and also a guide to induction, so I printed them off.
The online guide contradicted the book, telling me I should be eating enough veggies to get 12-15 carbs a day worth, which for most of the ones on the list is far more than 3 cups. But then I found this forum and it steered me back to following the book, which i'm doing now.
