  • Induction Week 1

So far so good. I am about to end week 1 of induction 10 pounds lighter. The quick progress is very motivating. I am glad to have found this Web site and I look forward to reading more inspiring stories and gathering useful tips.

I have tried Weight Watchers several times to find that it works for about the first 20 to 30 pounds. Then I would find myself straying and eventually giving quiting altogether. The problem there is nothing is off limits.

This site shows real people with real success working the plan. I am excited about charting my own success using this Web site.

    Re: Induction Week 1

Welcome! Congrats on your first week on induction. That is fantastic!

I had the same weight watchers experience. I just could not control my cravings on that plan. I love this way of eating because I don't have sugar cravings at all and my hunger is very controlled.

There are really awesome people here and incredible threads full of valuable information for every stage and challenge you might encounter. Keep up the great work!

WOW - today is my first day of Induction. I can only hope I get near a 10lb loss at the end of week 1.

Keep it up - hopefully we can all achieve loads on this site by sharing our stories.

See! How did you lose 10 lbs. when I've lost only 7 in 2 weeks!!! Don't get me wrong I'm SO happy for you...I just don't know what's wrong with me.

Also, I just ate lentil soup not knowing how many carbs it had.=((

Congrats! Today is my second day of induction, and I too hope to see such fantastic results!! I think the key is to be super duper strict on the carbs. If I'm not sure how many are in it, I'm not putting it in my mouth!! Hang in there everyone!!

                Re: Induction Week 1

I am not sure how I did it. I just read the lable of everything before I eat it (except for last night's popcorn). I think my secret is that I am so big. I am or was 352 pounds. My first ten are always the easiest. Limiting to 20 or less carbs for someone my size will have a more dramatic effect. I just bought some keytone stips at wal-mart. I am sad to say that the handfuls of popcorn from last night has thrown me out of Ketosis. I have been good today and will stay on track. I plan not to do that again and I plan to stay in the induction phase for about 4 weeks.
