I've had so much success with Atkins... yet even in the light of success I've fallen off the wagon too many times. Bad me!
On my birthday in October 2007 (a meer 1.25 years ago) I weighed 175lbs. Atkins and I had lost about 50lbs together and I felt great! So great, in fact, that I decided I could eat some birthday cake. Well... those of you who have carb addictions know exactly what happened.
I tried to re-start my plan in the new year 2008 - even hung out here with you great folks for a time - and just couldn't stay with the plan. Over this last year and a few months I've gained back all the weight I've lost! Darn!!
But... now is the time!!
I really feel like my head is on straight... like I KNOW I can succeed once again!! I'm so tired of feeling tired... of aching in my joints when I get up from a sitting position or climb the stairs or go for a walk... of watching both weight and age make my face "ugly".
This time will be different... this time I'll slowly work my way to goal weight (or close to it - no pressure here - honestly [that's important to me]) by staying on plan and making my way through the rungs of the Atkins plan.
So... watch for me on STAC, even though this isn't my second attempt
I'll do what I can to support you as you each work to get healthy, and I hope you'll do the same for me.
Cheers!
