Welcome.... You really need to buy AND READ the DANDR book. When you understand why this works, you will understand that this is not a diet and that you DO NOT FINISH IT! When you get through the first three phases, you will be where you want to be. the forth is your commitment to to never go back.(and why would you?) I got a used copy on Amazon for $4 including shipping. Its worth it. Come and see us often. Ask questions and get involved. THe more you participate, the more you will succeed... GUARANTEED! Good luck and Happy New Year!

hey Tiffany -- welcome to . Rob is right...get the book...READ the book....it will all make sense. I believe the more involved you are the better you'll do. If you don't thing you have time to exercise, I'll give you a little tip I do. When I first get up in the morning while I'm standing in the bathroom I do squats....when I go into the kitchen for a cup of coffee I do abs....I run stairs for 10 minutes and I'm pretty much done for the day. I wear a pedometer from the time I get up until I go to bed so I can track how much I walk. Because I don't work (and don't have little kids) I talk a walk in the afternoon. My 80 year old mother and my 1 year old dog go along with me (so it's like having kids...LOL!!!!). Somedays all of us walk a mile and a half...somedays it's only a mile, then I supplement with additional walking. My mother lives with us and has already tried to sabbotage me this week, but I'm not allowing her to, and I won't allow her to say anything about my weight, or my stomach or anything because she isn't going to ruin this. My hubby is happy for me and has been a real help this week. I'm hoping he'll start with me...he's already changed from real sugar to Splenda in his coffee.

Stay strong....if you need help, or a shoulder I'm here as well as all the other people here. You won't lack for friendship on this board!
