New Years Resolution? ... Life Change

It is terrible to make a New Years Resolution. So, this year, I am going to call it a Life Change!

I just want to introduce myself. My name is Tammy and I am overweight. This is my second time "doing" Atkins. The first time was 3 years ago. I lost 35 pounds in 5 weeks and did great. The "reason" why I was on the diet in the first place was because I was headed on a cruise. After the 5 day cruise, I came back to port and had gained 17 pounds. Instead of going back on and recovering, I felt so bad, that I just continued the life I had before and ballooned back and even added some.

I have had some health issues in 2008 and was told to lose weight and come back in 3 months. My 3 months is up and I have cancelled my appointment. I am afraid to go weigh again. I will get on track and make my appointments soon.

I have been eating the Atkins way since new years and have already lost 11.2 pounds. I plan on doing induction for a while. Well past the recommended 2 weeks.

I have found in the past that it always helps to have a friend or 2 on board with you. So, lets help each other with this journey. What a wonderful journey it shall be...
