    Hi everyone!

    Just wanted to introduce myslef as I am new to ADBB and hope to speak to you all at some point.

    I participated in the Atkins way in 2001 and felt fabulous. I have since met the man of my dreams and managed to gain a few more pounds then my body should be carrying - and so has he! We are planning to commence this weekend together and I look forward to seeking your advice.

      Hi Kiwimel,

      Welcome, it's very good to meet you!

      Be sure to read the book from cover to cover and follow it exactly the way Dr. Atkins advises. Drink lots of water, make sure you always have the right food on hand to eat, clear out carb food that you shouldn't have around, take vitamins and fit some form of exercise into your daily routine. Walking is a great one, it's easy, you can do it anywhere, anytime and it's free.....great for the body!

      Come here lots, read as many posts as you can and post as often as you like. We're all in this together!

      Keep us updated on how things are going for you with this way of eating....you're at a very exciting time in your life!!!
