  • I hope this works!!!!

    This is all very new to me. A new strange diet and this computer thing!!
    Hi to everyone and I wish everyone sucess with their goals.
    I was slim before I had my babies but now I think that it is time to lose my baby fat from the last baby. She is almost 9!! and that is years not months!!!! I go to the gym 5 mornings a week but not much has happened. I tried other diets but after a while I got lost along the way and the weight pilled on again!! I started at 85kgs and within 1 year was 70kgs but got no further. I wanted to be 65kgs. One year later 85kgs again. So hear I am hoping that this diet will work for me. Help and encouragement would be great. I've so many questions but I don't think this is where I ask them.

    Please forgive me if questions arrive where answers should be. This is also very new to me.....



    1.73m (5.8ft)

    starting weight 85kgs (187.3)

    1st target 79.9 (176.1)- 26/01/09..4/03/09(again)
    2nd " 75 (165.3)
    3rd " 70 (154.3)

      Welcome, natalie. I'm sure you will get the hang of the computer and the website in no time. If you are having trouble with either, I'm sure you will find the answers here.

      Do you have the Dr. Atkins New Diet Revolution Book? It explains the diet pretty well, then the links here are the board go into more detail about it. You can ask all the questions you want so don't be shy. This is the best way of life there is and this board is the best place to come to for support and encouragement. Good luck!

        hi natalie, i agree with blueberrylady! the book can be such a great help..don't think of it as a "diet" because if you go in to Atkins the wrong way for a quick fix, you won't be too successful.
        there must be a level of commitment and understanding about what's happening with your body, what foods you can eat and when...you go to the gym 5 days a week? that's great! what kinds of food are you eating now? that might give a clue as to why your weight might be flactuating...

            Well with so many forums it can be confusing. If you are on induction there is a forum for induction so most of your questions will probably go there. In the main forum, people ask questions of more general nature. But just post away someone will move the post if they think it should be somewhere else, that is no problem at all.
