  • Trying Again!

5 years ago I lost 70lbs. Regained 50 over time. Back on induction. 1 week down and 5lbs. I'm very happy to have found this forum. Thank you for being here. Any and all advice is welcome.

    Re: Trying Again!

Welcome to the board, it's good to have you here!!!

Well done on the weight loss so far, that's fabulous!!!

My suggestions would be read the book carefully from cover to cover, make sure your Induction is a clean one (do exactly what you're suppose to do on it), drink LOTS of water, take vitamins and EXERCISE!!!!! They all go hand in hand. Aside from those important things, be prepared!!! In other words, make sure you have food prepared and on hand at all times that you're allowed to eat and snack on when you are hungry. Don't get caught with your pants down (not prepared) and resort to eating something you shouldn't because the type of food you are allowed to eat wasn't around or prepared. I think that is really key in going through this.

Come here lots, read as many posts as you can as they are most helpful....great resources available throughout as well as a terrific source for support and encouragement. Post as often as you like and let us know how it's going for you!

    Good to meet you!

      Re: Trying Again!

I was on the Atkins Diet several years ago too and lost 40 lbs. I had a baby 3 and a half years ago and was breastfeeding. Now finally, I am on day 6 on induction. My size pants 12 is feeling alittle bit easier to put on. Thats a good sign. Keep up the good work you can do it!

My advice is to do induction for two weeks only then MOVE UP! You will LEARN how to eat, and what WORKS FOR YOU! Good luck and Happy New Year!
