Just wanted to introduce myself to everyone. I'm still trying to figure out how to interact with this site. LOL I've ordered my DANDR book, but still hasn't arrived. Couldn't keep waiting for it so I went ahead and started Induction on 1/7/09. Thanks to all the helpful info here. Thanks Everyone! Now if someone could just help me figure out how to add this ticker I would be so grateful?

Welcome Susan! Good luck and know that we are all here to support you through. When you do get the book read it all through but this website is also a wealth of information so good for you for diving right in. I know what you mean about the tickler. I had problems with it too. Keep us posted of your progress. By the way the Journal chats is a great way to journal your "Atkins" journey and this WOE (way of eating-you'll see that a lot on the website).Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says...I'll try again tommorrow.

Hey Susan! Good for you for just jumping i prior to getting the book!!!
At the top of the atkins page you'll see a hyperlink titled tickers. Go there and it will walk you through instructions of how to create your ticker...THEN you'll have to copy and past what it tells you to and you'll be going back to the atkins mainpage and go to the hyperlink title quick links and go to edit signature. You'll see where to post it and if you're not sure if it worked right, just click preview signature to see. Hopefully that helps a little

Welcome, it's really good to meet you. Hopefully your book arrives soon so that you can dive right into it and give it a good read.
