    Just wanted to first wish all a Happy New Year and send you all Good Luck in your Atkins Challenges !!! This will be my SECOND time on the Atkins Diet - First time was VERY successful I lost 180 lbs and then GOT PREGNANT and gained it back and then some SO HERE I AM AGAIN - AND I AM READY for the Hard Work and Dedication - I am here if anyone has questions and I am hoping to meet others that might have info for me that I don't know about the diet - First time I actually used pills to help along with the diet - PHENTERMINE - Got Heart problems from it - RBBB (right bundle branch block - they tell me it is nothing to be concerned with that it is just a rythm but I am sure it is from them pills because before I got those pille prescribed they gave me a EKG and it came up NEGATIVE) ( I DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN) - I did pick up some Hydroxycut Powder packets you add to water - But I am HESITATING to use them after reading some of the side effects at least until I can go to a dr to make sure it is ok to take with my heart rythm - so I decided to join this group to maybe use YOU ALL as my boost!!!

    April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs.
    Atkins start weight – 347 (July 19, 2008 )
    (100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day )

    Current weight – 251 lbs.
    Goal weight - 150 – 160

      Hello there Denise and welcome to the board!
      If you approach Atkins with hard work and dedication and follow the programme to the letter, success will be yours!

      You don't need to take anything to speed the diet along. Most of these things are harmful, as you've already experienced, and Atkins works without any outside "help".
