  • Am new here....need help...

I did Atkins about 9 years ago and lost 50 lbs of which I have gained 25 back. I have done Atkins on and off throughout the years...lost a few quick pounds and gotten off.

This time I decided to go all the way and just lose those 25 lbs for good! I went on December 27, 08...two weeks ago. Very strict, no cheating...am very determined!! As determined as I was 9 years ago! I know the diet well and have been cooking at home.

Problem is...I am not losing any weight! I havent seen any change in two weeks. Not on the scale or on my clothing. Nothing! I dont get it. I am eating very low carb, under 20g per day! This is the first time this has happened to me.

I decided to sign onto this board and see if I can get some advice before I become frustrated because I really dont want to give up...I really want to lose this extra weight.

    Thank you for reading.

Hmmm - you know the diet. We usually learn very bad habits after a while and you may have picked some up. Perhaps a refresher is in order. Also post in the Review my Menu forum to find out if anyone has any thoughts on what you are eating and drinking. Also need to know your stats -hight and weight.
But it is very normal to see small pauses even in the beginning without anything actually being wrong. For women their time of month can make them retain water. And don't expect exactly the same progress as last time - things change. Age is a factor so are hormones.

i was stuck at a weight before for ages and it was cause of these whole wheat wraps sure they were made with 50% fiber so it was only 10 net carbs per wrap but that was still WAY to much i stopt eating them and very slowly whent down my last 30 pounds to my ideal weight
