    Hola Everyone!

    Well I'm new here....second time doing Atkins but it's been 5 years.
    Very excited to make up my mind ot do this again and happy to see people on this board!

    Question: How do you know if some of the additives in supplements are okay or not? I mean, I know you need to read the ingredient list for starchs and sugars (just tossed a bronchial med I'd been taking for having that stuff) but today I went to the pharmacy and read labels on supplements...lots of stuff like cellulose...is that just plants? How do know if it's a good carb free supplement? Also, is Psillium husk in gelatin tabs an okay way to take that?

    Im paranoid about getting carbs from other things like supplements and meds, that's a good thing I guess

    Great question. We do have a forum about supplements. Perhaps ask there or look there. I am not sure

      I use the psyllium husk gel caps, and they work great for me. I am not sure what kind of supplements that you are looking for, but fiber and a multivitamin is all you really need. As you get out of induction and into OWL, your fiber intake will really take off. If you must take supplements avoid, sugar, sugar substitutes, and caffeine. Other than that, you should be alright.
