  • Newbie from Uk

    Hi

Thought I would introduce myself. My name is Jade, and I have just restarted the atkins today.

I am currently a uk size 18 hoping to get down to a size 12 by end of August.

I have taken up swimming and now swim for 45 mins in the morning and an hour at night.

            how about you?

I shopped last night & I thought here I am, a fat bird buying butter & cheese & meat, is this REALLY going to work? shopping trolley police must have had a field day made sure I had all my salad & veggies on the top.

off to have a chefs salad for tea! oh & drink another 3 glasses of water.

Hee heee.. forget the shopping trolley police.. this does work, so top that trolley up as much as you can. Tonight I had cauliflower with garlic butter, mashed up like mash.. with STeak and a butter, mushroom, onion and garlic pepper sauce. Stuffed and satisfied.
I have done Atkins a few times so I can definatley vouch that it works.. as long as you stick to it hard out. I haven't had major results so far this time (only on day 10 though) but I think I have TOM on her way.
Keep posting me some of your menus.. and heres to this summer looking slim and sexy.

I see you are on day 9 of induction.. I'm on 10 so pretty much the same as you.. Just wondering how you are going.. and how you finding it. My scale says I've lost 4lbs and I'm in ketosis and my clothes are definatley lighter. I was hoping for a bigger drop in weight (although I know the scale is not everything0 but it would be nice.
