    Hello from Wisconsin!

    Hi all. I am new and thought I would introduce myself. I am from the Great Northwoods of Wisconsin. It is frigid cold here - already have cancelled school for tomorrow

    I started Atkins on January 2 and am done about 6 pounds already. I am so glad I found this website. I look forward to getting to know many of you and helping you in your journey as well.

    Welcome Becci! The farthest north I've ever been in the states was Madison. I was there in January a few years ago and despite several layers of clothing, I was colder than a -- well, let's just say I was really cold! We have family in PA and IN, but WI in January beat both states hands down for chill factor. I think I'll stick with NC where the coldest night might get into the upper teens.

    As for Atkins, I'm sure you'll do great -- especially since cheese is a staple food. I know, I know -- bad WI stereotype...

      Thanks Eric. I wish it were warmer today - school was cancelled all across the upper part of Wisconsin due to the freezing temps minus 45-50 in some parts w/windchill. Brrrr. Sure won't exercise outside on a day like this Will have to do that inside.
