Hey y'all! This is my very first time to try Atkins (yes, I have the book, bought it yesterday!
) and I'm really excited! I've struggled with my weight all my life; the only time I've felt/been thinner was in college when I was popping diet pills. After passing out during class one day, however, I quit taking those and promptly gained a bunch of weight.
I'm turning 25 at the end of May 2009 and am moving back to my home state of Texas after four years in NYC; I'm determined to have an awesome, healthy body to kick off this big change in my life! Today is my very first day of Atkins and I weighed in at 158. I'm beginning Callanetics and Turbo Jam at the same time, to tone and burn.
I'm a little nervous that this won't work, but at the same time, I KNOW I've been binging on way too many carbs, so hey, this can't hurt!
