Well, I had great results 3 years ago. But I became a prime example of what happens after losing weight with Aktins and falling completely off the wagon. Not only do you gain ALL your weight back, you find weight you never had before and add it on as well
*sigh* So I'm back trying again.
Since falling off the wagon I've tried diet and exercise, which DOES work. Sadly, for me at least, it works at a sloth pace. I start losing, but get so discouraged when it takes 5 weeks to lose 5 pounds when I have 80 to lose, and I just can't seem to continue. This week, my husband, who has 50 Pounds to lose, came home saying he was signed up for a "biggest loser" type deal at work where they weigh him weekly and cash prizes are involved. He decided to go back to atkins to aid him and I decided to join him. After all, I'm miserable right now. I liked how I felt on Atkins. I'm not feeling wonderful right now, as I'm just so worried if it will work. I just can't think of what I'll do if I can't lose this and fail AGAIN. But I am excited about the prospect of simply being healthier. Fitting into my clothing would be a big plus too.
Induction should go well for me after the first few days. I'm working on an exercise plan today for myself. Kinda difficult for me as I HATE exercise unless it's outdoors, and in this cold, no WAY! But I figure my Gazelle and slim in 6 DVDs should work out until bike riding and walking outdoor weather comes around. Induction is the easiest part for me. I enjoy the strict rules where I can't mess up. It's AFTER induction and moving through the steps when I have problems. I'll stick to induction for awhile and get comfortable. I can't wait to use the tools and stories/pics on this board again. The board is a life saver! Thanks to everyone who posts. I know I feel a lot better knowing I'll have help if I need it and also be able to possibly help someone else as well.
