Hello everyone....this is my second time to be on the Atkins diet. First time was back 2003 and I lost 65 lbs. Then i had a hip replacement, so the weight started creeping back.
This past May, I was diagnosed with Diabetes type 2, (taking insulin), and I work out at the gym. I started the Atkins diet and working out 6 days a week with weight machines and treadmill. Now here's my problem....when i work out now, my muscles have no energy. I've been going to the gym for 18 months, but now, I feel like I've never done anything physical. What is it I am lacking? I was told minerals....someone else told me to take quinine....any ideas? I started taking vitamins and Omega 3 oils, and garlic pills (to help lower cholestrol). thanks....hoping to lose 40-45 this time around.
