  • Introducing myself....

Just found this board- I think it will be very helpful! I have done Atkins before, not horribly succesfully!! My husbandloes weight super fast on it, ad I don't, and then I get frustrated! So I'm trying to stick to it by the letter this time, athough I think I need to watch how much I eat since the calories are so high. Its very hard with 3 little kids eating cereal, pasta, and who knows what oter forbidden foods all the time! Thanks for having me!

    Re: Introducing myself....

Hi! Nice to meet you jcharley and welcome! I am new here also. I know the feeling of having kids and the pasta, cereal, and sweets. Think of it this way....I know you want to be around to see your unborn grandkids someday. Do it for yourself, for your health so you can be around for your family. That is a big motivater for me. I have to do it for me so I can be there for them.

Good luck with your journey. I am starting induction this weekend after I go grocery shopping. If you ever need to talk, just holler!

      Welcome to the ADBB Jcharley!
Yes, it can be tough in the beginning if your family are eating carby stuff all around you, but hang in there. It definitely gets much easier as you go on and you won't regret it!

Post lots and use the board for support and inspiration. There's loads of great info to be had and always someone to lend a helping hand if you need one.
