Good morning to my new friends?

I am a newbie through and through. I have just completed week 1 of induction and I'm proud to post that I've lost 5 lbs! It would take me weeks to hit this goal doing other diets. I find that I'm not hungry and I'm full of energy and everything else that is positive! I do worry coming from a family that are all on cholesterol meds that in the long run this may not be great for me.

but - I also know that carrying 50 extra lbs is not good for me either.

So that said - I'm looking for a place to share victories and question challenges. I hope I can meet some new friends here!

Thanks and I'll talk to you all soon

    Hi Amy
Just to put your mind at ease....recent studies have shown that Atkins style diets do more to improve your blood lipid profile that low fat diets do.

290 lbs. on 11/02/07 Goal: 145 lbs. or size 14 whichever comes first!
