  • Day 1 Of Induction

Hello! I'm Jen! I'm starting induction today! Trying to lock in a positive frame of mind to do this! I desperately want to lose weight! I've got to lose about 22 pounds. I'm about 162 right now and want to be 140. It's a healthy weight for me. I put signs all over my house with the dates of induction to remind me. I'm trying to have food prepared ahead of time. I have had GREAT SUCCESS on Atkins before...also failed a couple times so I'm trying to look back on my successes! I'm also trying to visualize how I will look and feel with the weight off. Having the extra pounds has really affected my self esteem. I have all kinds of food issues and I have to admit...I'm a little scared. I can do this. I can do this

    You definetly can do it!

I'm in week two and just keep telling myself that "nothing tastes as good as thin feels"

    Good Luck!!!

It isn't if you CAN do it.....Right now you ARE doing it......congrats!!

A lot of people never make it past breakfast on the first day.

        Keep up the good work!

          Re: Day 1 Of Induction

I've lost 7 pounds so far (33 more to go) but did cheat once and had to start over. That's what led me to this site - I am doing this by myself (without any local support like mom, sister, friends, etc..) and I know I need some support and motivation. After reading some of the success stories and seeing how many people are just getting started like me - I am so pumped! We can do this! Keep me posted on your progress!
