  • Re-Induction

    Hello

I am 41, mother of two children aged 21 and 4 - always worked full time until yesterday when I lost my job...so an enforced break which is fine with me.

I am not new to Atkins, as I try and stick to low carb generally...but I have been suffering from carb creep since the festive period.

I started my re-induction 10 days ago, and is going OK. My biggest weakness has been peanut butter, morning coffee and vodka and tonic ...clearly not an option on Atkins, so I have taken a while to reduce these out of my diet.

For me it is about the whole WOE not just loss, I function so much better on low carb living. My weight is 125lbs and I plan to lose 14lbs. Not weighed myself since the start, so have no idea if I have lost weight but my clothes are very baggy since the start! However I do not sleep so well since my induction started, which is hard going some times.

I live in the UK, with my partner, youngst son - Noah (eldest at uni), dog - fig, 2 cats - meg and mia and python - Luci. Generally an easy going person and happy.

    Happy to meet you all,
    Sallyx

    Re: Re-Induction

Nice to meet you. I hear you on carb creep. And peanut butter ... Enough said.
Tonic water contains sugar so make sure you get rid of that one.
Sounds like low carb works well for you.

      Thanks Liv,

I don't touch tonic anymore...given up my sins, thank-goodness! I always had the low cal version which hopefully was not too bad pre Induction.

Peanut butter is not allowed in the house at all, I don't think I would touch it now anyway, no desire to want sweet things.

      Cheers

        Re: Re-Induction

Good Luck! And hopefully your desire for carbs will diminish as the weight comes off.
