  • Hi! I'm new to this forum but not new to Atkins WOL.

I've been to this site for about a week and decided to register today. I'm so glad that I did. I have already found many recipes and tried some of them already. I was looking for some recipes that contained flax seed, but couldn't find that many. Any info of where to look would be appreciated. I have been on Atkins since May, 2008 and went off during the holidays. I was weak! Started again beginning of January and came down with a very bad cough, and couldn't find any sugar free cough drops, until 2 days after I started on the ones that contained sugar. Oh well, that's my luck. Of course, I bought the sugar free ones and started on them. I live in a small town and we are very limited to what we can find here. Anyway, right now I'm back on track and doing fine.
P.S. I originally did Atkins back in 1991 and did great, had 2 children and went downhill since then!

    Nice to meet you linmike.
So what do you want to make with flax seed? I usually do the flax muffins. But I bet you familiar with them.
Have you checked out Lindas Low carb site

      Hi Liv,

Nice meeting you also. I love this site and wish I had found it a long time ago. Thanks for the link. I have used her link before and found a lot of good recipes. I was looking thru the other forums and found people talking about flax crackers, but could not find a recipe for them. Do you know the recipe for them?

      Thank You,

      Linmike

No I don't make them. But you are right someone around here do. Try posting in the recipe request forum and see if someone responds. If I come across the recipe, I'll let you know.
