Hello, I'm 22 years old, 6'1", and weighed 245 in September. I added exercising to my life and by January I was down to 235lbs. Counting calories wasn't working well and I did carbo-load before cycling events. So I decided to check out Atkins Diet and I'm on week two, and weigh in at 226lbs. I haven't had any soreness or lack of energy like others have reported, I suppose everyone is different. This is a great "diet" I suppose, its just a very simple concept and I'm loving it. Follow the plan...I can do that!
And this is a "before" shot that also explains my user name...I'm an uncle to many, these are the newest and apparently there is more to come!!! Love a big family! I'm happy to find this forum!!!
