  • Hey everyone! I'm new here

    Hi. My name is Cody. I'm 16 years old. I've been on Atkins for four weeks before finding this site. Both my dad and I are on this diet. He started a week after me, though. I've currently lost a little over 25lbs.

    Welcome Cody and congratulations. Wow 25lbs already!!! Way to go. How much weight do you want to loose? Have you thought of keeping an online journal (here at this site)? Having a journal helps me keep track or my meals, exercise, etc. Good luck to you and I look forward to reading about your progress and success.

            Hey Cody -- welcome and congratulations on a great success so far. You are so lucky to have your dad on the program with you! Remember to read the book and ask as many questions as you can. We're all here for the same reason - you are just lucky to have found Atkins much earlier than we have. Keep a journal, go to fitday (it's free) and keep track of your food intake each day, it will help if you get where you aren't losing weight - you will be able to go back and see what is different than when you were losing.

            I'll keep an eye out for you to see your progress. Good luck!
