  • Hi from a UK Atkineer

    Hi,

This is the 2nd time I've been on Atkins, the first time I just had the book but this time I've got the advice, support and inspiration of you guys to help me through.

Lost about 30 pounds last time, but put it all back on again. Didn't have the staying power - I'd constantly be worrying about carbs and would use Fitday regularly. This time however, I've been doing this a month, and have lost about 14 pounds. Only difference is that I'm not adding up carbs this time or using Fitday, I'm just making sure I eat foods that I know have very few carbs.

I see you have said on this site that you are working on the DANDR 2002 edition. I'm not completely sure if the edition I have is the same, in the UK the current edition is published by Vermillion, and my copy was printed in 2003. It's the orange and blue paperback - is this the same one?

I just hope that this time I see it through - if I have any problems this time at least I'm able to ask for help from others in the same boat.

Yes Dazza you are working from the correct DANDR. The blue and orange covered one.

It is nice to see you on the board, its always good to see other british people here.

    Good luck

Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?
Take a look at the thread from the latest Veggie Challenge to see how others manage it!
