Came across this site today, and was so happy to find it! So I joined immediately.
This is my second time doing Atkins. I first did it in 2003 when I hit my all time high of 204. Something about being over 200 pounds got me to finally get in gear. I did well for two years and took all the weight off and kept it off.
In 2005, I seperated from my husband and eventually got divorced. During the process I slowly, but surely turned to my old standby of food to comfort me through the process.
Now, 3 years later, I am almost all the way back to where I started my first journey with Atkins.
My New Year's resolution was to get back on track, do what I know had worked before, so I started on 1/5/09. I have decided to continue Induction a bit longer as I have quite a bit to loose.
I am down 8 pounds and 7 inches so far. I am happy with that. And am more happy to find I really don't have to do this all alone. I look forward to getting to know you and want to thank you in advance for your help and support that I know will be forthcoming!!!
