      Re: Here we go!

      Hi Hippocampus,

I am not sure what is going on but my weight fluctuates alot... it seems that I get on the scale today and it says I lost 10 pounds, then I get on it tomorrow and it says I lost 8 (and I promise you, I have not cheated!!), So I have been losing "around" 10 lbs overall since i started...Has this ever happend to you???

I have been on the plan since Feb. 1st so, I think I am doing well for now...

Hope to hear from you soon!

        Re: Here we go!

        Hey flarese,

so nice to hear from you!

10 lbs is already a nice amount, I lost 12 lbs so far and love it.Unfortunately my weight loss stucks since a week - and I don“t know what am I doing wrong. I have under 20 g of carbs, drink endless water. I am a little bit frustrated.

Totday is Valentinesday and my husband quit his Atkins diet today.
I am having a cheating day: we will go dining out in our favorite sushi restaurant. I feel like I need to allow myself this cheating today otherwise I would give up completely.

So , I will have sushi today - tomorrow I am back on track.

        Have a nice day!

          Re: Here we go!

          Hi Hippocampus!

I hope you had a romantic Valentine's day!!! I was just reading the board and I found 3 things that I may doing wrong explaining why my weight is stalled!!
          1) way too much Splenda
          2) sugar free "jello"
          3) too much cheese.

You have made a comment that your weight also stalled after losing 12 lbs. These may be some reasons why this is happening...

As of tomorrow, I am cutting out the 3 items mentioned above...

Keep me posted on how you are doing!

            Re: Here we go!

            Hey flarese,

my valentines day was great, hope yours was too.

Well, I think my stall is related to some flumedicine and cough suppressant I have to take since two weeks now. Even though it“s for diabetic it has some sweetener in it. And since I felt very sick I was not able to do excercises. But that will change today, I feel much better again and will spend some time on a workout.

                Hey flarese,

I am still on induction means I try to stay under 20g netcarbs per day.
But right now I am searching for a nice recipe to make some kind of bread or muffin.
Just anything that goes in the direction of bread or muffin would be awesome....

Yep, I lost now 15 lbs and I feel really great. I am getting compliments from my husband everyday, which is really nice.

                See you soon!
