  • I'm new to the board... not to Atkins :)

    hi, im miranda.
i have learned to love the atkins 'diet' ... lifestyle. which is why i am here. i want to learn how to live atkins, instead of forcing a diet. atkins has always worked well for me. i am 5'2 and have an athletic build, which im fine with as long as i am the weight i need to be. otherwise, i feel like a look like a barrel. before i got married, i was successfully in the size i wanted and felt great. my diet was super relaxed and i was working out at least three times a week with my trainer. i swore i wouldn't be like those other people who got married and gained a bunch of weight. BUT... i did. as soon as my wedding was over, two more months of working out got old, had a job change, and ate pasta like every night.. or at least i felt like it. i went from being able to contain my cravings to eating everything bad in sight. SO... i am back now - for the long haul. i feel like i have been a bad girlfriend to someone that only helps me.

so... here is to my third attempt. the FINALE.

any help is appreciated! need tips on salty and/or sweet atkins recipes.

Welcome Miranda! We are all here for the same reason so you are in the right place!
There are some very informative folks here. There are tons of great info to read! The good folks here have spent LOTS of time gathering so much info for us. My advice is to spend a bit of time in the forum. There are many great threads for 'newbies' like us.
I welcome you and hope all goes well with you my dear.
The recipes are to die for too.
    Good luck.
