Hi my name is Abby and I am a 24 year old female. When I started 29 days ago I weighed 212 lbs. I now weigh 198-200 depending on the day. I have slipped twice on the diet once for an anniversary and another for a bachlorette party (due to alcohol.) I work out 3-4 times a week depending on my schedule. I like to do the eliptical, hip hop abs, and run. I feel as though I am at a stand sill with the diet and that has brought me to this forum for some helpful and positive feedback. My friend and I started the diet the same time and she is losing at a much faster pace than me so it can be very discouraging and she did not have as much to lose. I also work nights as a nurse and have two children at home under the age of 4 so I usually operate on about 4-6 hours of broken sleep a day (I know this is the reason for my weight gain but I cannot put my children in daycare.) Because of my sleep pattern I rely a lot on coffee and have tried to give it up but its hard. I also have a husband at home who can eat whatever he wants and not gain a pound so at night I have to cook two different meals (one for him and the children and one for me.)

Re: Introduction
Welcome, we are glad you are here. There are many women who share your lifestyle here and will be able to offer suggestions. Do your best to get rid of the caffine and this will help speed up the weight loss and make sure you are getting enough water. Take it one day at a time! Re: Introduction
Hi Abigail, someone else I know who lost a lot of weight on this diet found that during her weight loss "plateaus" she was losing inches instead of pounds. She persevered, and eventually more pounds came off, then another plateau with inches lost. Hope this helps.
