    Hi Board!
    I'm Denyse, 47 yrs old, married with a 4 year old daughter. I started induction last Thursday 1/29 but I didn't weigh myself when I started - oops! I did atkins about 3 years ago and lost a whopping 40 lbs in about 7 months, to which I was very happy with but lost myself to my mommying duties and other lifely factors and now I am back with the same "whopping" 40 lbs. to lose. When I did atkins the first time, I never realized there was a support board, so finding this today made me very excited and hopeful. Today was the first day I was "purple" so I feel good about that. I am going to try not to stress too much about the color of the stick or the scale this time around, and just see how my pants feel in the next few weeks.

    I can't wait to hear all your successes and Hopefully, share mine with you.

    Thanks in advance and I look forward in supporting each other as we all try to reach our goals and beyond.

    Hi Denyse and welcome to . Glad you found us. I hope you have the book and have read it and continue to read it. Check the board often and read, post and enjoy. The people here are wonderful, I've never experienced such friendly helpful people as here.

    We have lots of exercise challenges to join, they do help to keep you going everyday (although a 4 year old is an exercise challenge in itself...LOL). Drink plenty of water to keep your system regular and everything running freely!! If you have questions, ask them, someone will answer quickly.

      Hi Denyse, glad you found us and joined. This is usually a lively group but ya gotta watch Carole, she likes to give out hugs.

      You know, one of our big time looser said that the numbers are really not that important, its changing our diet to a healthier way of eating. So if you lose 12 pounds or 20, its the road, not the destination.

        Yep you gotta watch me alright.....She's just jealous that I give out hugs before she does...LOL!!!!!
