  • Time to introduce myself

Hello eveybody! I've been lurking here for a few weeks and I'm amazed at the advice & support everyone gives around here! It is so encouraging!

I started Atkins on Jan. 12 and have lost 13 lbs so far. I have not lost a single pound this week...a little discouraged...but maybe it is TOM? I guess if TOM is the problem and I haven't gained any, I should be pleased, right?

Here are some questions: I have the previous edition from what you recommend. Is it so different that I need to get the newest one? and Is it reasonable to think I can lose 4 lbs a week since the first two weeks have passed?

    Thanks you guys, you're great!
    Rhonda

    Hey Rhonda,

welcome here and congrats to your success so far.

About your other questions I can´t say anything.

I started 1-29-09 and lost 9 lbs so far. Are you still in induction?

Hello, thanks for replying. I am still on induction. I have been feeling so good physically, I hate to change anything. I especially love that my sugar cravings are almost nonexistent!!

Thanks, I read someone else say it when I first began this WOE. It has become my mantra & has really helped at times. I wish I could remember who said it, I would like to thank them!

My sugarcravings are gone too. I didn´t even think that´s possible in my case.
