Ricky, I'm proud you have made the decision to take control of your body.I would advise to stay in at least mild ketosis and drink tons of water as long as you can.You will find your hunger will be drastically reduced.Be careful in the gym.A lot of weight on those joints.Nothing wrong with walking for a hour a day.

hey Rick - welcome to the board. We are all here to help each other any way we can. As it was posted above, you need to drink lots of water - there is a semi-annual water challenge and February water challenge here that are helpful (http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...come-join.html) - all you do is pledge ounces of water you plan to drink everyday and it helps keep you on track. We have a lot of exercise challenges that are great for making you keep you going.
It sounds like you're off to a great start - congratulations on your 20 pound loss so far! Hope to see alot of you around!!
