    I figured I'd come out of lurking mode and introduce myself.

    I'm Erica and this is my 2nd time doing Atkins and will be my way of life moving forward.

    The first time was in Jan-April 2002 and I lost 20lbs. I maintained this weight lose up until I got pregnant and gave birth to my first daughter in 2003. Since then I've had 2 more children and haven't gone back to a true Atkin's way of life, but now I'm ready. I have about 25lbs to lose to be back to my pre-pregnancy weight from 2002 and hoping I can get there by the end of April.

    My current stats:
    Height: 5'8"
    Starting weight: 175
    Current weight: 167.5
    Goal weight: 150

    Any tips for a returning low carber would be appreciated?

    Hi Erica, welcome to the board. Tips are plentiful. Read the book- read labels - never go hungry. Come visit us often.

      Thanks for the welcome.

      Good news is I've read the book several years ago and feel comfortable with this way of life.

      I'm looking forward to looking and feeling better!
