  • New to the forum but not to Atkins

Hello all, I just found this forum yesteday, been poking around a bit and decided to join. Looks like a great support community you have going here, just what I need. My story....I have been overweight all my life and pretty much on and off diets since I was 12. 5 years ago after my divorce I decided to lose the weight and adopted Dr. Atkins WOL. I lost 103 pounds in 11 months and loved the way I looked even though I was told often that I was too thin. Is there such a thing? I sure didn't know you could be too thin . I kept the weight off for several years, and then it happened. I met a wonderful guy, we dated and now we're living together. I got confortable and before I knew it, I gained about 30+ pounds. So here I am again before it gets out of control. I have been on Atkins for close to a month and I am down 11 pounds already. I love this WOE and knowing how the weight can creap back up, this time I will stick to it for ever....well, I hope. I do carb cycle sometimes, every 2 or 3 weeks I will allow myself a carb up day....it keeps me going and gives me something to look forward to. OK, sorry I wrote a whole book here. I am looking forward to getting to know everyone....I am off to poke around the forum some more . Please wish me luck......

I think there is something like too thing. Unfortunately I have had friends who have gone there. You can overdo anything I suppose. Healthy is the way to go.
